Teeth Whitening BLEACHING BLEACHING
"What does a teeth bleaching procedure include? Active component in the product is normally either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, this is either applied directly by dentist (office type bleaching) or applied by the patients themselves (home type bleaching). While the active component is rupturing, oxygen goes into tooth enamel tooth color gets lighter. In order to get the maximum bleaching result, we recommend you the combination of both during the treatmen process. Office type bleaching can be applied with 15x3 minutes procedure in one session or one week apart in two sessions. Later on, bleaching trays are prepared for the patients who want to lengthen the bleaching time with home type bleaching based on taken measurements.

F.A.Q. ABOUT BLEACHING
No. Most of the teeth have a yellowish color. Some of them have a little bit more beige color – very few of them
are actually “white”. Teeth also get dark with age and their surfaces may be stained because of daily exposure to
coffee, tea, colored foods and drinks. Some people might have internal stains caused by antibiotics usage or have little cracks in their teeth which are holding stains.
Dental bleaching might be a very effective but very simple way in order to whiten the color of the teeth.
Bleaching can only whiten your current teeth color. In other words, it’s an option for the color tone change. It only works on natural teeth. Teeth color change can not be provided on any porcelain or composite tooth.
It’s very important to follow the directions given by your dentist and attend any follow up appointments. Also smoking and food products like red wine or coffee must be avoided.
Treatment results may vary in regard to original color of the teeth. Teeth will tend to get dark with time. Even
though sometimes it may take a little more while, the effect lasts approximately one to two years. Sometimes in the first few days, patients may sense that their teeth are sensitive, but this goes away in a little while. Your dentist can apply gels that rapidly decrease this sensitiveness, if needed.
